This inspection service is a comprehensive investigation of a home’s condition that will reveal the strengths and weaknesses of most visible and readily accessible components. Expect to receive a full inspection report within just 24 hours.

Home Energy Audit
About 90% of America’s homes are under-insulated. A home lacking in insulation and air sealing wastes on average 30% of it’s energy, costing you more on your utility bills and decreasing the home’s comfort levels.
A Home Energy Audit is designed to identify the home’s deficiencies and set up an action plan to rectify them. Most of the time, solving these deficiencies also lead to increased air quality, increased home value, decreased carbon footprint, and decreased noise pollution. From concept to completion, we’ll be there to ensure your journey to an energy efficient home is easy.
What we do during a Home Energy Audit
- Combustion safety testing; operating and testing all combustion appliances (furnace, boiler, water heater, etc.) for safety and efficiency
- Inspect the home’s thermal and pressure boundaries to identify visual weak points (Basements, Exterior Walls, Attics, Kneewalls, Crawlspaces, Garages & more)
- Meter high-use electric appliances to measure electric usage
- Measure functionality and efficiency of exhaust fans
- Blower door testing to evaluate existing air leaks
- Utilize infrared camera to evaluate heat transfer.
- Evaluate any current or potential moisture issues.
- Keep you informed and explain all of my findings in simple terms.

Pre-Listing Inspection

New Construction Inspection

11th Month Warranty Inspection

Home Maintenance Inspection

We’ll carefully inspect the home to look for areas in need of improvement, giving you the information you need to carry out the necessary maintenance tasks.
Commercial Property Inspection
This inspection service is for light commercial properties, including office spaces, strip malls, and restaurants. Our process is to comprehensively evaluate the condition of all readily accessible structural components and installed mechanical systems, providing a full report of our findings so that you’re able to make a more informed investment.
Re-inspections
For this inspection service, we’ll return to your prospective home for a second limited-scope inspection once the seller has notified you that requested repairs have been finalized. We’ll investigate the areas that were repaired, ensuring that the original issue is corrected and that no other deficiencies have emerged as a result of the repair work.
Radon Testing
Using a state-of-the-art radon monitoring device, we’ll perform this inspection service to measure the levels of radon gas in your prospective home. Over a specific threshold, this odorless and invisible gas can be harmful to individuals who are exposed—in fact, the EPA cites radon as the second leading cause of lung cancer after cigarette smoking. If the radon levels in your prospective home do exceed that safe threshold, radon mitigation services will be recommended.
Pool Inspections
If the home you’re purchasing comes with a pool, then we recommend scheduling this specialized inspection service. We’ll evaluate the condition of the pool’s structure, mechanical components, accessories, and safety features. If any issues come to light during the inspection process, we’ll make sure that you’re fully aware so that you can negotiate new terms as necessary with the seller of the home.
