My wife and I have purchased about 5 homes in various states over the years. Each time we hired a home inspector. They all did a great job, but Jake from Home Town Inspection Services was by far the best I ever worked with. His knowledge was incredible. He took time to explain things in terms I could understand so we could evaluate the importance of his findings. He really knew his business and he DEFINITELY knew about houses. He's also a real nice guy which is why I took the time to write a review lol. I will be recommending him to anyone I know who needs similar services.

I highly recommend Jake for an experienced and well educated inspector! He’s extremely thorough when evaluating the home and is not afraid to go the extra mile. Whether it be a hot attic or small crawl space under a deck, he does what he needs to do to check everything out. He talks through his findings with the client and properly addresses any concerns they may have by truly educating them on the overall function of the home! Overall trusted and top notch work.

If I could Jake and Home Town Inspection Services 100 stars I would.Before the initial inspection Jake took the time to text me to answer any pre questions I had, and took the time to understand my concerns.From the moment we arrived at the inspection Jake explained every detail of how the hone inspection would be done, was completely open to feedback, and took the time to educate.The inspection itself was done thoroughly, honestly, and I personally learned a lot as Jake has expert level knowledge about construction.The post report was detailed completed with images, recommendations, and thoroughly written assessment.To make a king story short, my father used to be a landlord and said that this was the best home inspection he has ever seen. I highly recommend Home Town Inspection Services. They made me much more comfortable in a very big decision in my life.

Working with Jake was great! Especially buying a home out of state, he made inspection (that we couldn’t attend) a breeze. He walked me through his entire process and went above and beyond what I expected offering help along the way! He made communicating so easy, being able to connect via phone, text and email!

Top quality inspection. Jake answered any questions I had during the inspection while also providing recommendations. His final report was very through and he made himself available to answer any follow up questions as well.

I highly recommend Home Inspection Services. They took their time explaining every issue big or small. The turn around timeon the report was prompt and detailed as well. They were able to put complex things and make it simple for me. The pricing was fair and they were very responsive.
